South Valley Quilt Association
2010 Harvest Quilt & Fiber Arts Show:The South Valley Quilt Association (SVQA) is a nonprofit, all volunteer, organization founded primarily to
host a yearly Harvest Quilt & Fiber Arts Show at the Taste of Morgan Hill. The Taste of Morgan Hill is the
city’s annual Art & Wine Festival presented by Morgan Hill Chamber of Commerce.
Mission Statement:
To contribute to the South Valley’s knowledge of the art of quilting by hosting a yearly quilt and fiber art exhibit;
to promote an appreciation of the art of quilting by displaying quilt and other fiber arts for public viewing; provide educational
opportunities by sponsoring and supporting these arts; and encourage individuals to become involved in these arts.
Philanthropic Activities:
Free to the public, the Harvest Quilt & Fiber Arts Show provides an excellent venue to educate the general public
on the arts and skills of quilting and other fiber arts. Profits from the show support the Textile Arts Scholarship and
Classroom Grants Fund.

SVQA meets at 7:00 pm, the second Tuesday of the month at the Morgan Hill House
(Villa Mira Monte), 17860 Monterey Road, Morgan Hill, CA. Dues are $30.00 per year.
